“Adventure is worthwhile in itself.”
— Amelia Earhart

Slovakia is a small country with huge charm — more castles per capita than any other country, the dramatic High Tatras mountains, charming medieval towns, and a vibrant capital on the Danube. It’s Central Europe without the crowds.

Why I Want to Visit

Slovakia offers the beauty of the Alps at a fraction of the price. The High Tatras are spectacular for hiking, Bratislava is a delightful compact capital, and the country is dotted with fairy-tale castles and traditional wooden villages.
