Why I Want to Visit
Berlin’s art and nightlife, Bavarian Alps villages, legendary beer halls, and atmospheric Christmas markets. The food and beer culture alone makes it worth the trip.
Draft itinerary
Twelve days to cover the major regions:
- Berlin (3 days) - The Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall memorials, Museum Island, Kreuzberg street art, and the nightlife
- Dresden (1 day) - The rebuilt Frauenkirche, the Zwinger Palace, and the stunning old town
- Munich (3 days) - Marienplatz, the Hofbrauhaus, the English Garden, and day trips to the Alps
- Neuschwanstein and the Romantic Road (2 days) - The fairy-tale castle and picturesque towns like Rothenburg ob der Tauber
- Cologne and the Rhine Valley (2 days) - The Gothic cathedral, river cruises, and vineyard-covered hillsides
